SHORT BREAKS
You can enjoy a short break holiday on all the Guildford Narrow Boats - an ideal way to try life afloat with a view to having a longer holiday later, or as an extra relaxing break during the year. Our boats have good heating making them truly comfortable for all year round cruising.

You can choose either 4 nights Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday or 3 nights Friday to Monday, Saturday to Tuesday. Start times are 2.30pm; return by 9.30am.

10/11 DAY HOLIDAYS
If a fortnight is too long, then why not strike a balance and take a 10 or 11 day holiday? You can easily combine short breaks with weekly holidays, take advantage of the flexible choice of start days and save on the standard short break price. Your 10 or 11 day holiday is the normal weekly cost plus 50% of the following week's charge. Start times are 2.30pm return by 9.30am.

PRICE SAVING - MID WEEK DISCOUNT
For week-long bookings starting on a Tuesday, there is a £40 discount on the brochure price. Please note that this offer applies to holidays of 7 days minimum or the first 7 days of a 10/11 day holiday and does not apply between 19 July and 23 August
(i.e G Band dates).

2 OR MORE WEEK HOLIDAY SAVERS
We offer a 15% discount on the cost of your second (or third) week when you book two consecutive weeks or more on the same boat for holidays before 5 July or after 30 August and 10% off your second week when you book two consecutive weeks or more for holidays between 5 July and 30 August.

2009 SAVER
Book your 2009 holiday and pay your booking deposit before 31 October 2008 and you pay 2008’s hire charges. Where dates of Bank Holiday weeks change from year to year the respective 2008 Bank Holiday price will apply. (As the hire charge includes fuel, an additional charge will be made if the rate of duty on fuel changes).

Children aged 15 and Under are Free of Charge
Where extra person berths are offered.

Extra Persons Aged 16 and Over
Where a craft can accommodate extra persons, the charge is £25 per person per short break, week or 10 / 11 day holiday.

REMEMBER
The charge for your narrow boat from Guildford Boat House
includes - your fuel costs, gas, bed linen, well behaved pets (maximum 2), car parking (number of cars depends on size of craft), a colour TV and a 12V hairdryer. Hascombe, Hambledon, Hydestile, Marquis and Savanna also have DVD players.

YOUR INITIAL PAYMENT WHEN YOU BOOK
The Initial Payment shown below is needed to secure your holiday and to give your whole party cover for Cancellation Insurance.
Payment in FULL is required if you are booking within 8 weeks of your holiday.

How Much To Pay

The Deposit shown in the table includes your premium for Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance. Personal Holiday Insurance including Vehicle Breakdown Insurance is also recommended. Details of the cover and premium can be found inside the brochure letter. If you book more than one week or short break, an Initial Payment should be paid for each week or short break booked. For example, a 2-week holiday on Hambledon with weekly prices of £474 and £559 would mean a deposit of £275 made up of £125 for the first week and £150 for the second. This is the amount you would send us when you make your booking. For 10/11 day holidays you should add the payments for the week and short break dates which make up your total holiday period.

When you receive your booking confirmation (usually within 10 days), please check the details carefully. It will tell you when your balance payment is due.
